Remove ignition wires from engine.
2.
Measure resistance of each wire. Readings should be:

6 .................................................................................................................................................................................................... 5.13k to 12.30k ohms
Coil lead .......................................................................................................................................................................................... 1.8k to 4.10k ohms

If wires are not to specification, replace wires.
