Modified windshield wiper arms and blades have been introduced at the following Vehicle Identification numbers:

The new design has a top fixing hook and is known as the "Trico Series 10". The blade can be detached from the arm by depressing the locking tag
under the blade pivot and sliding the blade down the arm.

The blades are not interchangeable with the existing type arms. New type blades and arms can be fitted in vehicle sets to earlier Series III and XJ-S HE
vehicles.

The following illustrations show the parked position of the new wiper system.
