Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Service and Repair

Open the trunk lid and remove the trim as detailed in 'Service and Repair.' See: Service and Repair

Remove the two bolts and spring washers and remove the striker plate (Fig.1).

On renewing the striker plate, adjust the striker to ensure that the luggage compartment lid aligns with the rear fenders.
Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
