1.

Identify the single pressure switch (Illustration 1) and disconnect the harness connector.

2.

Unscrew and remove the single pressure switch from the Schrader valve connection (Illustration 1) on the refrigeration line.

WARNING! 

Vehicles within VIN range 720001-720579: Refer to Technical Bulletin 14-02 when removing the single pressure switch on vehicles within
the above VIN range. The bulletin provides information on which vehicles are equipped with Schrader isolating valves in the switch fitting.

3.

Install and tighten the dust cap provided in the modification kit on the exposed Schrader valve connection.

4.

Remove the harness connector from its mounting bracket.

5.

Insert the shorting plug supplied in the modification kit into the harness connector. Insert the harness connector into its bracket.

6.

Turn the ignition switch to position II and check that the cooling fans run at the slow speed.
