Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (ACL)
Unclip the ACL cover and remove the cover element assembly.
Remove the ACL element.
Clean the cover and the mating faces.
Unclip the ACL box from the MAFS.
Remove the nut from the upper mountings.
Remove the ACL lower casing, retaining the 0 ring seal (ACL to MAFS).
Fitting a new ACL is the reversal of the removal procedure.
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
Unclip air cleaner cover.
Remove cover and element, discard element.
Clean cover and mating faces.
Fit new element to cover.
Fit and seat element I cover assembly to air cleaner
Lower unit, secure cover with clips.
