Combination Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Loosen steering wheel adjustment ring and extend steering wheel to maximum travel.
3. Remove screws securing steering column lower shroud, then remove the shroud.
4. Remove steering wheel as described under "STEERING AND SUSPENSION/STEERING/Steering Wheel, Replace".
5. Remove screws securing upper shroud to bracket on steering column.
6. Loosen pinch screw securing switch assembly to steering column.
7. Ease switch assembly and shroud from steering column.
8. Remove nuts and screws securing switch mounting plate.
9. Disconnect ground cable from snap connector.

10. Remove switch from assembly.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
