Fit and align extractor tool 18G 284 AAH (3 Fig. 2) to the fulcrum bearing race.
^
Tighten the tool cross bolt, ensuring the tool legs locate behind the bearing race.
^
Fit the slide hammerl8G 284 to the tool and remove the bearing race.
^
Slacken, but do not remove the tool cross bolt and place the bearing race aside.
^
Repeat the above procedure for the remaining bearing race.
^
Refit in reverse order to removal procedures.
Note: Use equal sized shims to give O.OO3 in, (O.0762 mm) pre-load.
