9. Slacken and remove the two console rear securing screws.

10. Remove 'J' gate finisher and veneer panel. See: Centre Console 'J' Gate Trim/'J' Gate Finisher and See: Centre Console 'J' Gate Trim/'J' Gate

Finisher Retaining Panel

11. Remove fascia centre veneer panel. See: Service and Repair/Fascia Center Veneer Panel

12. Slacken and remove the two centre console front securing screws.

13. Ensuring that harness is clear, pull console rearwards to withdraw front dowels from tunnel locations.
14. Remove console from vehicle.
15. Remove console ashtray. See: Ash Tray/Service and Repair
16. Remove  centre console glovebox and lid. See: Glove Compartment/Service and Repair
