Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Procedures
TRUNK LID LOCK STRIKER
1. Remove trunk floor carpet.
2. Remove trunk rear finisher. See: Service and Repair
3. Slacken and remove the trunk striker securing bolts and remove striker from trunk.
4. Position striker in trunk and fit but do not fully tighten securing bolts.
5. Carefully close trunk lid and check for satisfactory lock engagement and lid alignment.
6. If necessary, slacken securing bolts, adjust position of striker and re-tighten bolts.
7. Fit trunk rear finisher. See: Service and Repair
