It is important that air flow to the grommets is unrestricted. It may be necessary to trim back the trunk floor carpets.

Cut a section from the fuel tank trim cover to clear the vent assemblies (Fig. 3).

Refit the trunk trim, fuel pump cover and spare wheel.
