Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

CAUTION:

Observe all fire hazard precautions detailed in FUEL SYSTEMS / SERVICE PRECAUTIONS, when working on open fuel systems.
Fuel system MUST be depressurized before disconnecting any fuelling component.

1.

Remove right trim panel in trunk,.

2.

Remove fuel pump relay (silver relay on black/yellow base).

3.

Crank engine for 10 - 20 seconds for remove pressure.

NOTE:  Do not refit relay until repairs are complete.  If relay is fitted, pump will operate if ignition is turned ON.
