It is recommended that a compression test is performed when spark plugs are removed.

9.
Check and adjust plug gap to 0.64 mm (0.025 in).
10.
When refitting spark plugs, start by hand. Be sure to avoid any cross-threading.
11.
Refit A/C compressor and belt. Adjust belt tension.
12.
Refit distributor cap and vent hoses.
13.
Refit ignition wires. Be sure each boot is fully seated.
14.
Refit vacuum hose to cruise control actuator and reconnect actuator wire harness connector.
15.
Refit actuator to A/C compressor.
