Fuel Cooler: Service and Repair

FUEL COOLER

RENEW

Depressurize the air conditioning system. Depressurize the fuel system.

Disconnect the battery earth lead.

Disconnect the fuel hoses (1) from the fuel cooler and fit plugs to the hoses and fuel cooler to prevent ingress of dirt.

Disconnect the air conditioning hoses from the fuel cooler and plug the hoses (2) to prevent contamination of the air conditioning system.

Remove the nuts and bolts securing the fuel cooler (4).

Remove the fuel cooler.

Refitting a new fuel cooler is the reversal of the above operations ensuring all connection are secure and new '0' rings are fitted to the
air-conditioning unions.
