Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Description and Operation

Inertia Switch

Inertia switch allows voltage to pass to fuel pump.  Switch has a test button on top side of unit.  Button is normally down, no red color showing.  If
vehicle is subject to heavy impact or button is pulled up, switch opens, interrupting electrical circuit to fuel pump and stopping fuel flow.  Switch is
located at driver's front door post.
