Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

RAM TUBE

Open the bonnet and fit wing protection.

Air Ram Tube

-

Slacken the clip securing the ram tube to the air cleaner assembly (1 Fig. 1).

-

Displace the ram tube from the bell mouth location (2 Fig. 1).

-

Reposition the ram tube to disengage from the bell mouth.

-

Remove the ram tube (3 Fig. 1) from the air cleaner and remove from the vehicle.

-

Withdraw the bell mouth from the cross member. 

-

Replacing the ram tube is the reversal of the above operations.
