8. Remove the throttle body.

Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation

CAUTION:  Do not attempt to clean the throttle body. The bore and the throttle plate has a special coating applied during manufacture which should not
be removed.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install a new throttle body gasket.

-

Tighten to 10 Nm.

2. Check and top up the cooling system.

Removal

WARNING:  When relieving cooling system pressure, cover the expansion tank cap with a thick cloth to prevent the possibility of scalding.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

1. Remove the expansion tank cap to relieve the cooling system pressure.
2. Remove the cowl vent screen.

CAUTION:  Do not attempt to clean the throttle body. The bore and the throttle plate has a special coating applied during manufacture which should not
be removed.

3. Remove the throttle body intake pipe.
