DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

*INSTALL FRONT CRUSH TUBE SCREWS*

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

GTR Home> NAS > X350 - XJ > Service Information> Model Year> Workshop Manuals> Body and Paint > 501-19: Bumpers> Removal and
Installation > Front Bumper *Cover (76.22.78)*.

1.

Refer to GTR section 501-19 operation 76.22.08 and remove the front bumper *Cover*.

2.

*Remove sight shield moldings and radiator air defectors (Figure 1)*.

3.

*Remove the foam block supporting the A/C pipe to chassis frame for access to the side wall of left-hand crush tube (Figure 2)*.

*CAUTION:

Ensure the use of an aluminum-dedicated drill bit to prevent cross contamination with steel*.
