Remove the check arm-to-body bolts.

Remove the check arm-to-door nuts.

Displace and reposition the door check arm rearwards.

Remove door check arm.

Install the new door check arm.

Install the check arm-to-body bolts and torque to 13.5 Nm (10 lbf.ft) +/- 2.1 Nm (1.5 lbf.ft).

Install the check arm-to-door nuts and torque to 12 Nm (8.5 lbf.ft) +/- 1.8 Nm (1.5 lbf.ft).

Install the door weathershield (Illustration 8).

38.

Install the door trim wiring grommet to the weathershield (Illustration 9).
