NOTE:  When installing a new air bag module, a prepaid return postcard is provided with the replacement air bag module. The serial number for
the new part and the vehicle identification number (VIN) must be recorded and sent to Jaguar Cars Ltd.

Remove the front seat head restraint.

2. NOTE:  Apply suitable protective tape around the right-hand head restraint guide tube.

Using a suitable tool, remove the front seat head restraint guide sleeve.

3. Detach the front seat backrest lower rear cover.

4. Detach the front seat backrest cover from the front seat backrest frame.

5. Release the wiring harness and the front seat backrest thermo-electric device duct.

6. Detach the front seat backrest cover velcro strap.
