2. If fitted, verify and record customer's "Mirror fold back" preferences: (Figure 1)

Mirror fold back "Off" or "On".

REWORK MIRROR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-09: Rear View Mirrors, and remove the affected mirror exterior cover(s).

NOTE:

The mirror motor electrical connector may not always be visually backed out.

2. Inspect the mirror motor electrical connector; the connector may be backed out from the powerfold actuator aperture. (Figure 2)

3. Apply sufficient force to fully engage the mirror motor electrical connector, ensuring minimal contact with connector and other wiring. (Figure 3)

4. Carry out a diagnosis of the powerfold mirror, ensuring full operation.
