Front Door Interior Handle: Service and Repair

Remove door veneer panel.

Remove door upper trim pad.

-

Remove door lower trim pad.

-

Using a suitable plastic knife, cut through the weather- shield to door sealant and reposition weathershield for access.

Reposition lock assembly multi-plug from mounting bracket and undo and remove door glass lower fixings.

-

Reposition the glass frame and remove the outer cable to lock assembly securing clip.

-

Displace cable from abutment bracket.

-

Disconnect inner cable from lock assembly and interior door handle.

-

Disconnect the outer cable from the interior handle assembly and remove securing sleeve from cable.

-

Remove operating cable assembly (Fig.1).

Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.

NOTE:  Fig.1 shows front door components only.
