ISSUE:

A revised head gasket, which is more resistant to coolant leakage, has been introduced into production from engine no. B168652 at VIN 794099.

The revised gasket can be identified by the part no. stamped on the gasket near the word "TOP" (Illustration 1). Two part numbers are available
depending on the engine no.

ACTION:

When replacing the cylinder head gasket on all AJ 16 engines, always verify that you are installing the revised head gasket, as well as the correct gasket
for the engine number.

For engines up to engine no.

or B107674 Supercharged

For engines from engine no.

B107673 Normally Aspirated
