ISSUE:
The ground studs on some vehicles may have been coated with rustproofing materials during the vehicle build process.
ACTION:
When checking complaints of improper or intermittent operation of a vehicle system, disassemble the appropriate ground stud connection (refer to the
system specific circuit diagram and page 27 of Sedan Range 1995 Electrical Guide) and ensure that the stud, eyelets, and all connection surfaces are
clean.
