Slacken the clamp (2 Fig. 1) securing the hose to the inter- cooler intake elbow.

Remove the bolts (3 Fig. 1) securing the intake elbow to the intercooler (8 Fig. 1 and remove the elbow.

Remove the `O' ring seal from the intake elbow and clean the elbow joint faces.

Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
