Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to 'Battery, Service and Repair, Battery Reconnection Procedure.'  See: Starting and

Charging/Battery/Service and Repair 

2. Remove engine covers.

3. ! WARNING

BEFORE PROCEEDING, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL 'SERVICE PRECAUTIONS' ARE READ AND UNDERSTOOD.

De-pressurize fuel system  See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair 

4. Remove coolant expansion tank fixings and reposition tank for access.

5. Remove bolts securing fuel feed pipe to inlet manifold.
