Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to 'Battery, Service and Repair.'  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair 

2. Remove ABS controller cover for access.

3. Disconnect engine harness connector from CKP sensor connector.

Depress tang on connector to release, tools are not necessary.

4. Release CKP sensor plug from mounting bracket.
