Fuel Rail: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
Fuel Rail - Bank 1
Removal
1. Remove fuel injectors; See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair
2. Disconnect fuel pressure regulator.
Remove bolts.
Reposition pressure regulator.
Discard O-ring.
3. Remove fuel rail from charge air cooler adaptor.
Remove three bolts.
Remove fuel rail; still connected to fuel crossover pipe and fuel return pipe.
