Lock Ring Wrench - Fuel Tank Flange

Removal

NOTE:  The Removal and Installation procedures below show one type of flange but are applicable to the other evaporative loss systems described.

1. Remove battery. Refer to 'Battery, Service and Repair.'  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair 

2. WARNING:

BEFORE PROCEEDING, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL 'SERVICE PRECAUTIONS' ARE READ AND UNDERSTOOD.  

Remove fuel tank assembly for access.   See: Fuel Tank/Service and Repair 

3. Disconnect vapor hose(s) from flange assembly.
