21. Remove the fuel rail.

Remove the three bolts, which secure the fuel rail to the charge air cooler adapter.
Remove the fuel rail from the adapter; still connected to the fuel crossover pipe and fuel feed pipe.

22. Remove the charge air cooler adapter assembly.

Remove and discard the seals from the fuel rail. 
Remove the five bolts, which secure the adapter assembly to the cylinder head. 
Remove the adapter assembly from the cylinder head. 
Remove the gasket; adapter assembly to cylinder head.

23. Clean and inspect all relevant mating faces.

Installation 

1. Install the charge air cooler adapter assembly.

Install a new gasket; adapter assembly to cylinder head.
Align and install the adapter assembly to the cylinder head. 
Install the five bolts, which secure the adapter assembly to the cylinder head. Tighten to 20-22 Nm. 
Install new seals to the fuel rail.
