Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to 'Battery, Battery Cable.'  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative 

2. WARNING:

BEFORE PROCEEDING, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL 'SERVICE PRECAUTIONS' ARE READ AND UNDERSTOOD. 

Drain the fuel tank using a suitable suction pump/tanker. If the On-board Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) system is fitted, Refer to 'Fuel
Delivery and Air Induction, Fuel Tank,Fuel Tank Drain Procedure For ORVR System.'  See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service

3. Remove the fuel tank; Refer to 'Fuel Delivery and Air Induction, Fuel Tank.'  See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair 

4. Remove pressure sensor from evaporative loss flange.

Installation

1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
