Air Flow Meter/Sensor

The MAF sensor is located in the air flow meter housing. The sensor is of the hot-wire type, which registers air flow by the cooling effect of incoming air
passing over it the cooling effect alters the resistance of the wire. The electrical resistance value is converted to an analogue output voltage signal to the
ECM. This component is NOT serviceable, necessitating the renewal of the MAF meter assembly should a fault occur.
