Suspension Travel Bumper: Service and Repair

 
Rear Bump Stop 

Removal 

CAUTION:  Replacement of nuts and bolts: Various thread-locking devices are used on nuts and bolts throughout the vehicle. These devices restrict
the number of times a nut or bolt can be used. 

1. Raise rear of vehicle and support on stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove appropriate road wheel. 

3. Remove bolts securing bump stop to body.

4. Remove bump stop and where applicable, reinforcement bracket from vehicle.
