Remove securing screws, and remove the latch striker from the header plate, Illustration 9.

31.

Remove securing screws, and remove both of the latch guide-pins from the header plate.

32.

Remove securing screws, and remove the header plate from the convertible-top frame (Illustration 10)

Note:

Note the areas where the cover is bonded to the frame, for reference when installing the replacement cover.

33.

Release the front edge and main column areas of the cover which are bonded to the frame with adhesive.
