5. Start the engine and allow the coolant to circulate around the system. Top-up the coolant as necessary.

6. Install new seals to the pressure cap.

(1) Remove both O-rings from the pressure cap.

Install and fully seat new O-rings to the pressure cap. Install the pressure cap.

7. Run the engine at 1500 rpm, A/C off, until the cooling fans operate. Turn on the A/C to maximum heat and check that heat is coming from the

heater vents in the vehicle.

8. Stop the engine. Allow the system to cool (approximately 30 minutes). Remove the cap from the header tank and top up the coolant as necessary.

Reinstall the pressure cap.

9. Remove the paintwork protection sheets and close the engine cover.
