Additional Features

1. The vacuum actuator is only operational on cruise control equipped vehicles and is connected to a vacuum system controlled by the ECM.

2. The thermostatic air valve allows cold starts and engine idle without recourse to throttle valve movement. Engine coolant flowing through the 

throttle body provides progressive closing of the valve from -30°C (fully open) to +40°C (fully) closed.

3. Springs on the input shaft and mechanical guard oppose throttle opening movement to impart "feel" at the accelerator pedal. The throttle valve and

drive gear springs oppose movement in the throttle closed direction.
