Part Load Breather Line - Proper Routing
Issue:
The part load breather line on XK8 vehicles can be damaged if it is not routed properly after servicing the vehicle.
Action:
After performing any work in the engine compartment that may have required disconnecting the part load breather line, observe the following:

The part load breather line must follow the routing under the intake manifold and along the bulkhead wall as indicated in Illustration 1.

The part load breather line must be attached to the vacuum signal line by the clip.

The part load breather line must be above and attached to the inner heater hose by the clip. The part load breather line must be positioned above the
fuel lines.
