Fuel Pump Relay: Description and Operation

Operation 
The fuel pump relay, under control of the ECM, switches power to the fuel pump motor.

The security system may disable this relay via communication with the ECM.

Monitoring Procedure 
With the ignition on, the drive to the main fuel pump relay is examined. If the state of the drive is not as expected, then a main fuel relay failure
judgement is made. The DTC is stored if failure is detected on two successive ignition cycles.
