Suppression Module: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Open the driver's door, or both doors if necessary, to allow the side windows to drop. Ensure that the doors remain open until after the battery has

been disconnected.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.  See: Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service and Repair 

Remove the battery cover.

3. Raise the vehicle on a ramp.

4. Disconnect the multi-plug from the mounting bracket clip.

1. Disconnect the multi-plug.
2. Remove the three bolts which secure the suppression module to the mounting bracket.
3. Remove the suppression module.

 
Installation

1. Connect the battery ground cable. Refit the battery cover.
2. Reconnect the battery. See: Battery/Service and Repair
