Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery ground lead.

2. Release fixings (4) and remove the Engine Control Module/Transmission Control Module (ECM / TCM) housing cover.

3. Disconnect the TCM harness multiplug EM007.
4. Lift the TCM from its housing.

INSTALLATION 

1. Fitting a new TCM is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:

A replacement TCM may only be obtained from an authorized Jaguar dealer and MUST be ordered against the Vehicle Identification Number 
(VIN).

At this point ensure that the ECM is correctly located and pushed fully rearward against the housing.
