Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect earth cable from battery terminal.
2. Remove wiper arm and blade assemblies.
3. Remove plenum chamber cover.

4. Slacken and remove the bolt securing the driver side water deflector to the plenum chamber and remove the deflector.

5. Remove convertible model bulkhead brace.

Slacken and remove the driver side bulkhead brace rear securing bolt.
Slacken and remove the bulkhead brace front securing nut and remove brace from vehicle.
