Headliner: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Remove front seats. See: Seats/Service and Repair
2. Remove rear seat cushion and squab. See: Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair
3. Remove battery cover and disconnect earth cable from battery terminal. Refer to 'Battery, Battery Cable.' See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative
4. Remove rear quarter casings. See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair
5. Remove combined grab handles and coat hanger hooks.
6. Remove 'J' gate surround. See: Console/Service and Repair
7. Remove center console. See: Console/Service and Repair
8. Remove 'A' post upper trim panels. See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair
9. Remove sun visors. See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair
10. Remove sun visor retention bezels. See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair
11. Remove roof console. See: Console/Service and Repair
12. Withdraw each door aperture seal from flange upper section.
13. Position headlining for access.
Easing the body tabs back to release the headlining, progressively move the headlining downwards to access interior light multiplug.
Disconnect interior light multiplug and free headlining from remaining body tabs.
