Removal

1. Open the drivers door, or both doors if necessary, to allow the side windows to drop. Ensure that the doors remain open until after the battery has

been disconnected.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service and Repair 

Remove the battery cover.

3. Remove the cover from the fuse-box.
4. Remove the glovebox assembly, for access to the connectors.
5. From behind the fuse-box (in the glovebox area) disconnect the harness multi-plug.
