Fuse Block: Description and Operation
Fuse-boxes
There are six fusebox assemblies per vehicle, five of which have conventional, replaceable fuses. The High Power Protection Module does not have
conventional fuses.
Two Engine Management fuse-boxes are shown. Only one is fitted (LHD or RHD) to any vehicle, on the opposite side to the pedal box.
The High Power Protection Module comprises three 250 Amp fusible links to protect the starting circuit (two connected in parallel) and the battery
positive supply to the other fuse-boxes.
Location of J1962 socket
The J1962 socket is located on the fascia, adjacent to the 'A' pillar on the driver side.
