Voltage Regulator: Service and Repair
Regulator Removal (Nippon Denso Generator)
1. Open the driver's door, or both doors if necessary, to allow the side glass to drop. Ensure that the doors remain open until after the battery has been
disconnected.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. See: Battery/Battery Cable/Negative/Service and Repair
3. Remove the generator from the vehicle. See: Generator/Service and Repair
4. Remove the nut from the main terminal and remove the insulator.
