In case of a verified customer complaint about a ticking noise coming from the left hand foot well area at low speed, refer to the repair matrix shown to
determine which actions apply.*

WORKSHOP PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the EVAP canister purge valve (see Global Technical Reference GTR Workshop Manual, section: 303-13, SRO 17.15.30).

2.

On those vehicles that have an EVAP purge valve without a link lead, discard the purge valve and obtain the new style valve with the link lead.
(VIN ranges of A30645 to A36998 on N/A vehicles and A30645 to A37134 on SC vehicles). If the existing valve has a link lead, retain the valve
and continue with the procedure.

Insert the EVAP canister purge valve into the new insulation pad, fold the insulation pad around the EVAP canister purge valve and secure
(Illustration 3).

4.

Install the EVAP canister purge valve (see Global Technical Reference GTR Workshop Manual, section: 303-13, SRO 17.15.30).
