Remove the two Torx screws securing the head restraint motor to the seat frame (Illustration 8).

9.

Remove the head restraint motor.

10.

Remove the head restraint drive cable and outer sheathing (Illustration 9).

11.

Cut 12 mm from the middle of the cable outer sheathing.
