Ticking Noise From Left side Footwell - EVAP Canister Purge Valve - Repair Procedure
Remove and destroy Bulletin 303-62, amended 11/04. Replace with this Bulletin. Revised to include installation of new insulation pad.

Issue:
On some 2003-05 MY XK vehicles customers may have a concern about a ticking noise coming from the left hand foot well area at low speeds. As a
result, a new modified * Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Valve is available to address this concern on earlier vehicles.*
* This new valve and a new insulation pad must be installed in conjunction with reprogramming the Engine Control Module (ECM) for this repair to be
effective.*
*The modified valve was used in production from the following VIN:
A36999 - Normally Aspirated
A37135 - Supercharged*
* A new modified valve may have been previously installed without the insulation pad per the original version of the workshop procedures on JTIS or
GTR.*
