Remove the steering column multifunction switch. (Figure 3)

Depress the two clips.
^
Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLING THE LEFT-HAND MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
CAUTION:
Ensure that the electrical harness is not trapped during the installation.
1.
Install the multifunction switch.
^
Connect the electrical connector.
^
Align the lugs and secure the clips.
2.
Install the steering column upper cowl.
^
Install the screws.
3.
Install the steering column lower cowl.
^
Connect the steering column and foot pedal switch electrical connectors.
^
Secure in the clips.
^
Install the screws.
