Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair

Adaptive Damping Module - Vehicles With: Convertible Top 

Removal 

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Make the SRS system safe.
3. Remove the RH roll over protection unit.
4. Remove the active damping module.

Remove the 4 nuts.

^

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

Installation 

1. Install the active damping module.

^

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

^

Connect the electrical connectors.

2. Install the RH roll over protection unit.
3. Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.

Adaptive Damping Module - Vehicles Without: Convertible Top 

Removal 

1. Remove the rear seat backrest.
2. Remove the active damping module.

^

Remove the 4 nuts.

^

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

Installation 

1. Install the active damping module.

^

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

^

Connect the electrical connectors.

2. Install the rear seat backrest.
