Connect the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle.

Lower the trunk lid to the closed position (but not fully closed).

CAUTION:

The tonneau cover should remain left down / closed during this procedure.

NOTE:

The 'time-out' period for the roof when left in a mid-position (neither fully open nor closed) is approximately 10 minutes. The hydraulic pump
valves will switch 'off', allowing the rear section of roof tension bow to fall under its own weight after this time-out period. To prevent this
from occurring, the roof open / close switch should be operated to move the roof slightly at least once every nine minutes. If the roof does
time-out (the roof will relax to a closed but not latched position) the system can be recovered by:

Manually lifting and holding the rear of the roof by hand to its near vertical position. (Figure 1)

Operate the roof slightly to reenergize the system.

If the vehicle VIN is prior to B22319, the button will have to be held initially for longer than 10 seconds.

With the roof in the closed position, press and hold the roof open switch until the rear section of roof (tension bow) reaches its near vertical
position. Release the switch before the tonneau cover starts to rise. (Figure 1)
